Grip where it matters
Smooth gloss finishes are slick when wet, so we build texture into every surface that sees water. For pool decks, patios and wash-down areas we broadcast a slip-resistant aggregate rated for bare feet, and we can adjust the texture level depending on how the space is used.
UV-stable topcoats as standard
Our topcoats are UV-stable polyaspartic, which means no ambering, chalking or fading on sunny lanais and pool decks. That matters in Tampa Bay, where outdoor concrete sees intense sun most of the year.
Prep comes first, outdoors too
Outdoor slabs often have old paint, cracks and uneven areas. We remove failing coatings mechanically, repair cracks and joints and check drainage before we coat. Skipping that work is why so many pool deck coatings peel after a couple of summers.
Bundle it with your garage
Many homeowners do the garage and the lanai or pool deck together. Bundling the jobs lowers the price per square foot because the crew is already on site. We quote both in writing so you can compare.
Pricing
Pool deck and patio coatings start around $7.25 per square foot. Old coatings, repairs and the texture you choose affect the final number, which comes after a free on-site inspection.
What to expect on install day
We remove old coatings, grind and repair the surface, apply the base, broadcast the slip-resistant texture and finish with the UV-stable topcoat. We give you a realistic schedule in writing, including when the deck can take foot traffic and furniture again, so you can plan around the pool.
FAQ
Is the coating hot on bare feet?
We use lighter, cooler colors and textured finishes for pool decks, which stay more comfortable than dark smooth surfaces.
Can you coat over my old pool deck paint?
We remove failing paint first. Coating over it would only last as long as the old paint’s bond.
Can you do my garage at the same time?
Yes, and bundling the garage with the pool deck or lanai lowers the price per square foot because the crew and equipment are already on site.
